You may be eligible for our free Creative Industries programme and a £200 DMU Made Startup Grant.

We’re offering 20 exclusive places on this year’s ‘Freelancing in the Creative Industries’ programme, running each Wednesday in March 2026. Each participant will also receive £200 to spend against business costs.

DMU Made will contact successful applicants with further details about the programme, before it begins in March 2026.

Please note this programme is only open to UK home students, due to Government conditions around registering as a Sole Trader or business.

Terms and Conditions: DMU Made will run a number of initiatives and activities in 2026 which offer funding in return for a UTR notification. Please note, each student or recent graduate will only be eligible to receive one DMU Made Grant, regardless of how many initiatives they engage with. DMU Made reserve the right to make some initiatives exclusive to students and recent graduates who haven’t yet submitted or registered for a UTR.
